THE STORY:
I am really excited about this painting as it marks a huge pivot point in the development and search for my unique style. By accident (or was it a stroke on inspiration?), out painting in the grass on a lovely summer's day I decided to try combining the techniques I had been playing with in my abstract work with the simple forms that I love of sky, water and mountains of my landscape work. This is one of those rare works that all Artists chase, as it just flows and appears out of some unknown place. I am really excited to see where this new direction takes my future work. This is a painting I will always think about.
